harvest

i'm getting my craft on over here.  when hazel naps i explode with creative energy.  it can be pretty scary.  today i think i will put down the sand paper and paint brushes and turn on the oven.  this cooler weather has got me craving pumpkin cookies.  david will be so excited when he gets home.  what is your favorite fall food?

fall is here

we celebrated the first day of fall {saturday} by picking out our pumpkins.  can you tell whose is whose?  i just love fall.  i love sweater weather, changing leaves and pumpkins.  i love autumn scented candles, honey & spice cookies and hot cocoa.  what is your favorite thing about this season?

favorite moments

my favorite moments are when we are all home together. talking, laughing, cuddling.

i noticed as i was holding hazel that we were laying the exact same way with our right ankle crossed over our left.  it has been fun to watch her grow and see different traits and mannerisms that she inherited from each of us.

mailbox

since moving we have had to aquire all sorts of home necessities such as a washer and dryer, lawn mower and most recently, a mailbox.  david put up our mailbox this weekend and asked me several times, "are you going to put it on your blog?"  it's cute to see how excited and proud he is of our home.

o chistmas tree

this has been such a fun christmas, our first married chistmas. we had so much fun decorating our first christmas tree and even more fun sneaking presents under it and seeing each others surprise to see yet another gift under the tree! somethine about a christmas tree just makes home feel a little bit cozier and more like home.
