friday firsts

i thought a fun way to count down to the wedding would be to blog about some of mine and daves firsts. i will start with the first time we met:

david and i met at a young single adult activity at pinetop last june. (you may or may not remember me mentioning going to pinetop). when i got to the activity david was literally the first person i saw, or at least the first person i noticed. i was scanning the crowd to see if i new anybody there and noticed dave. lucky me, just minutes after noticing him a mutual friend introduced us. i had only been at the activity for about five minutes before being introduced to dave. we ended up talking for the rest of the night until dave's roommates were ready to leave. thank goodness he asked for my number before leaving!

besides the perma-grin on my face, i look terrible in this picture. i had come straight from work to this activity and did not get a chance to do any proper primping. in fact, i almost backed out of going altogether and probably wouldn't have gone if it weren't for friends talking me into it; i'm really glad now that i went!
