yesterday was my birthday and it was a very fun but chill evening. poor dave is sick and probably should have just stayed home and rested but he was such a trooper. he surprised me with a dozen beautiful roses, took me window shopping at all of my favorite stores (anthropologie, white house black market, barnes and noble) and took me to eat at one of my favorite restaurants. we had fun in barnes and noble reading eachother our favorite childrens books. he was very impressed with how lively of a reader i was. i guess being a nanny paid off!
